Dr. Barney Oldfield Bishop requests all Try on and Columbus folks who are going on the motorcade to meet near the depot and have their cars full of people at 11/45 a. m. Saturday, July 9. Recover Stolen Car Chevrolet Coape which was stolen June 21 from the Trgon Motor Co. has been found at Chillicothe, O. according to telegram from the sheriff there, and Walter Bougman & wife colored, are in jail there. S.C. GoDernor Wires He’s Coming Gov. Ibra C. Blackwood of South Carolina telegraphs that he will be here for the highway celebration Saturday afternoon at Harmon Field. All Set tor Julg 9th All preparations are made for the big highway celebration here Saturday. The streets and stores are beautifully decorated. Oak Hall is fixed for the Ball and Mimosa for the Tea. The Country Club and Harmon Field are ready for the guests. Cooking of the barbecue at the Field begins at 12 tonight. Secretary Ainsworth of the Spartanburg Chamber of Com* merce was here this afternoon checking-up on all the plans. You can help a lot by speaking to every stranger you can. Make him want to come here again to a place so friendly, 300 Cars expected to be in Motorcade Saturday
