Est. 1-31-28 Health Work Extended Dr Rosa L. Gantt and Mrs. Passmore Nesbit, officials of the Ameri can Women's Hospitals Ass'n. leave Tuesday for Brasstown, Tenn. to extend their health work in that section. Magician Entertains Fridag Girard Lang, of Norwood’s Studio here, but formerly of Cincinnati, is a magician, and will give an entertainment program Friday night, 8:30 at St. Lukes Colored Methodist church. Admission 10c. Special seats for white friends. Carriage Falls; Babg’s Leg Broken Bruce, 3 months old baby of Mr. and Mrs. C. G. Gibbs of Mill Spring, is in St. Lukes Hospital with a broken leg as a result of his carriage rolling off the porch. Columbus P.T.A to Meet A call meeting of the Columbus P.T.A. will be held at the School Dormitory, Friday, July 15th at 4 p,m. IMPORTANT. Remember Librciru Hours The Lanier Library will be open this evening at 7:30 and on Satur day morning, but closed Saturday afternoon. Other hours as usual. Mill Spring Ice Cream Supper An ice cream supper will be served Saturday beginning at 5 p.m. at the spring in Mill Spring. Benefit Mill Spring Baptist Woman’s Missionary Society. State convict escaped last night from Columbus jail. He only had about three weeks more to serve. The Badenger Co. begins a big July Sale Satur day, according to Adv. in the Bulletin.
