Lightning Fire at Landrum Fire caused by lightning which struck the building did damage estimated at $5,000 to the plant of the People’s Ginnerg at Landrum gesterdag afternoon. The fire started about 2:30 o’clock. Firemen combatted the flames for more than an hour before they were brought under control, but not until the building and machinery had sustained considerable damage from fire and water. Dental Clinic tor Schools Dr. Gates Coughlan, dentist, of the State Board of Health, Raleigh, arrives in Columbus, Monday, July 25th to begin work at 9 o'clock and will give six weeks of free dental work to school children of Stearns, Mill Spring, Sunny View, Green Creek, Saluda, Tryon, spending a week at each place. Expenses paid by State Boards of Health & Equalization. ■ ~ The Bulletin $1.30 a year; 73c for 6 months; 23c for 2 months.
