Avant and John Landrum have charge of the affair. . • | v ' Mr. Ralph Green Married-, A marriage of interest to friends in many states-is'chat of Miss Marion Smith to Mr, Ralph Green of Tryon, which was solemnized on Saturday evening, August 20, in the First Methodist church of Greenville, S. C. The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Lena DeShields and has lived, in Hen dersonville for the past several years. After b|eirig .gradated from Columbia College in Columbia, S. C„ she took courses at Furman Uni versity in Greenville and at the University at Chapel Hill.' &>r two years she was a popular instructor in the Hendersonville high school. The past year was spent in dramatic work in New York. The groom received his education at the University of California and has been connected with the forestry department of that state.
