Two Meta and Still Captured
A 100-gallon sheet iron still was captured and wrecked by Prohibi
tion Officers Owens and Ingram Monday in the Coopers Gap section.
The two men, Howard Dimsdale and Russell Walker, were taken before
a commissioner and held to federal district court ofj Asheville, following
the raid. They are in the Polk County jail. Mr. Owens said, 1,000 gal
lons of beer were destroyed and 13 gallons of whiskey were also found.

Balloon Goes Up at 3 p.m.
In the vacant lot in front of the Bulletin office. Balloon
starts filling about 2:30, and will go up between 3 & 3:30.
Daredevil Scotty will leap 3000 ft. from the balloon in a
parachute. Admission free.
