Nearly 300 people expected from churches at Tryon, Hendersonville, Saluda, Fletcher and Mills River. Todau’s News Headlines Senator Bingham renominated. Stocks continue to rise. Cotton prices break $3 to $4 after Govern ment forecasts a 11,310,000 crop. Marion Mills resuming work, more emploged now than in 1930. Mrs. Rudg Vallee doesn’t want a divorce now. Local News Briefs At a meeting of the Town Council Monday night the commissioners ordered the building of a sidewalk in front of the New Bra Service Sta tion; work to begin soon. When Oct. 1 comes the Commissioners will be able to meet a payment of $7,080 on its bonded indebtedness with out having to borrow any money. J. M. Early brought the Bulletin the best roasting ears today on subscription, W. S. McCall, prominent Lynn merchant has his subscription paid to 1934; he was right sweet about it, paid for it in honey. Melrose Lodge is being repainted a beautiful cream on the interior. A new glass door and window partition has been built and gives additional living room space. Rotary Meets Friday at Oak Hall Rev.
