Ewette Allison ol Mill Spring, Monte 2, reports
killing a 7 ft. black snake yesterday. The, snake has
been skinned and the hide will be used for belts.
Want Trees Remaned
Those poplar trees at the railroad depot crossing which
separates Trade St. from the railroad obstructed the view
of a prominent Tryon tourist and he barely escaped losing
his life the other day when he couldn’t see the train as his
car turned the corner and up across the railroad.
Kiinanis Tuesday
Tryon Kiwanis club will meet Tuesday at 1 p. m. at Mimosa
Inn with C. J. Lynch in charge of the program.
