Shooting at Pea Ridge
Ralph Covington, 27, who was married Saturday to Miss Pearl
Price, is in St. Lukes hospital with gunshot wounds in his
shoulder as the result of an encounter Sunday evening with
Jake Pritchard, 35. All of Pea section. Cause of the con
flict could not be learned. Pritchard was out on bond today
Methodist Simdajjj School Groups
The Tryon Methodist Sunday School has grown
considerably in the past few months. From about 75
to SO the total attendance went to 110 two weeks
ago and jumped to 132 yesterday.
® Dog Show at Asheeille
The Asheville Kennel club is putting on a Dog Show Wednesday at
8:30 p.m. on the third floor , Grove Arcade Bldg. Entry blanks can
be obtained here from George A. Cathey. $1 fee includes membership
in the Asheville Kennel club.
Kiwanis Meets Tuesday
at 1 p.m. at Mimosa Inn. J.S,Massenburg in charge of program.
