Senate Committee Kills Polk Bill to Repeal Absentees The Senate committee on Elec tion Laws has reported unfavor ably the House bill to abolish the absentee law in Polk county, ac cording to newspaper reports. The Senate also ruled against several other counties where there was chance of Republicans getting elected. Introduced by Dr. J.
