ENTERED AS SECOND-CLASS MATTER AUGUST 20, 3928, AT THE POST OFFICE AT TRYON, N. C., UNDER THE ACT OF CONGRESS, MARCH 3. 1879 'fotlij Vol. 8 TRYON, N. C., THURSDAY, APRIL 11, 1935 The Scouts The Tryon Boy Scouts who have made such good records in Scout ing owe much of their inspiration f training to Scoutmaster W. A. Z ' e Jchilletter and the Rev. C. P. Bur nett who have had more personal contacts with the troops as a whole. A number of business men have assisted the Scouts in doacihing them fotr their merit badge achieve ments. Dr. W. A. Sutton of At lanta, Ga., formerly head of the American Education Association, states that he values more highly every merit badge a Boy Scout earns than he does a unit in high school education, for what a boy learns and does of his own accord becomes a part of himself and fits him for a useful life.
