TO MEET
The Business Women’s Circle of
the Baptist church will meet Tues
day evening at 8 o’clock at the
home of Mrs. Noah Wilson. Miss
Carolyn Upton will be joint hos
tess with Mrs. Wilson. The pro
gram will be in charge of Miss
Lillian West.
On Monday riight, May 13th, the
Tryon Senior class will receive
diplomas. At this time Dr. D. W.
Daniel of Clemson college, head of
the Academic Department and a
very eloquent speaker, will deliver
the graduating address.

of Detroit, who has come to visit A
Mrs. Wendin who has been
about a month. Mir. Wendin will
spend two weeks; Mr. and Mrs.

the school of the Good Shepherd '
tomorrow (i.Sundlay) afternoon,
April 28th, a!t 4 o’clock, at which
time the mite boxes will be col
lected. The public is asked to con
