MORE COPY A lot of fun has been made of the government’s alphabetical agen cies such as the NRA, AAA, FERA, etcetera. The letters that puzzled me when I was a boy reading signs on the street were B. P. O. E., A. F. & A. M., I. O. 0. F., W. O. W., W. C. T. U., J. 0. U. A. M., G.0.P., D. A. R., U. D. C., F. O. 8., and all the letters on box cars repre senting the various railroads of the country. When the Titanic went down S. 0. S., impressed me. The letters that worry me most now are C. 0. D. Today’s Headlines Josephus Daniels is told Great Smoky National Park work to be started soon. A Tryon Sun Rise Art Livingston The Eastern horizon's hills fringed in light— As a soft mellow crimson glow bursts through, And with piercing rays, bombard the fleeing Night, Imparting a reflected luster to morning dew In confusion, the cold black co harts flee — Followed by a rear-guard in daiwn blue-gray; Earth awakes with song of bird * and buzz of bee, — The Battle is won.—All glory to the victor, —day.
