Covil-Whitmire Announcement has been made of the marriage of Mir. Earl Covil of Soumerco to Miss Orphie Whitmire of Pisgah.' Mr. and Mrs. Covil made a honeymoon trip last week. Mrs. Covil is now visiting rela tives at Pisgah and will be at home next week. Mr. Covil is the head mechanic as the Southern Mer cerizing Company plant here. W. D. Edwards is spending his vacation this week from the Tryon postoffice. Mr. and Mrs. Edwards and little son are now visiting in Cincinnati, Ohio. Twelve copies of The Tryon Daily Bulletin were sold today to a customer in Boothbay, Maine. An article about the Tryon spirit pub lished on May 22 was the cause for the order. Copies of that issue of The Bulletin are being handed around in many northern commu nities by friends who want to tell others of Tryon’s good qualities.
