He outlined the ideals and prin ciples of Rotary which seeks the cultivation of friendships that en ables Rotarians to be of service to one another; ideals that promote better business and professional standards, ideals that create a love of community service which works as a leavening farce for good in all worthy community organiza tions alnd activities; principles that hold Rotary clubs together all over the world and foster a spirit of universal brotherhood that at has aided in avoiding serious Conflicts and has pormoted goodwill
