Win In Baseball
Try on’s colored baseball team
played a double-header Thursday
at Riverside Park in Tryon. The
locals defeated Asheville in the
first game 9-4. Battery for Tryon
Red Kines and Lake Floyd. In
the second game Tryon defeated
Brevard 4-0. The battery for the
locals was Tub Green and Lake
Floyd. Tryon plays Asheville
again on Monday.
