Randolph of Richmond, Va., representative of the Federal Housing Loan Bank Board de livered the charter to the group of business men who subscribed for the stock. They accepted the char ter and elected the following di rectors: F .P. Bacon, Julian B. Hester, John G. Landrum, W. S. Green, M. R. MCown. The direc tors will meet and elect officers. Horace Drake Is Recaptured And Lodged In Jail Hendersonville, Sent. 6.—Horace Drake, who escaped from the Hen derson county jail here about two h weeks ago, was recaptured by the 'sheriff’s department Friday about daybreak at the home of his mother west of Hendersonville. Officers whr made the arrest are Roy Owens, Donald Hill and Jerry Orr. Drake, officers said, ran to the attic of the house broke thPu the ceiling, and fell to a room be low. He then attempted to jump through a window, but was cap tured. Aaiting trial on charges of housebreaking, Drake es c aped about two weeks ago by breaking through a part of the brick wall with a bar of iron lowering himself to the ground with sheets tied to gether.
