A debate on the question started Friday at its regular meeting between two min isters, the Rev. C. P. Burnett up holding the affirmative and the Rev. , Che.s. G. Sewall defending the %iegative. Both men are college and sent their son* to •college. There has been a lot of doubt in the minds of many people as to the value o-f v college educa tion. Outside the professions there are hardly more than four business men in Tryon who are college graduates. Even many graduates think the educational system needs to be revised in order to better pre pare students with a practical ■education in order for them to earn a Irving and be seif supporting. A try way, it is a problem, and there was not enough time at Friday's meeting for the debaters to 1 finish their arguments so the debate will fee resumed next Friday. | At the Churches j METHODIST Church school. 10 a. m.
