Joe Dalton wa.s employed to care for the house for this season. Work has already been started to im prove the house. Potatoes will be accepted for storage at once. Apple Auction Sale At the Apple Show at Tryon a part of the apples on exhibit will be sold to the highest bidder Saturday afternoon at 4 o’clock. The proceeds from this auction will go to pay on expenses! of the exhibit. H. R. Niswonger of the State Agriculture Deparement will air rive in Tryon tonight to assist in 'arranging the apples for the Polk County Apple Show to be held in Tryon in the Wilkins building, ad joining Slack’s Pharmacy on Fri day and Saturday of this week.
