MISS JACKSON HONORED WITH PARTY WEDNESDAY Charming among the week’s many delightful social affairs was the party given Wednesday after noon when Miss Helen Correll en tertained at her home on Pine street complimentary to Miss Rachel Jackson of Tryon, N. C., who. is a member of the Freshman class of Converse college and her roommate, Miss Sybil Pringle, of Atlanta, Ga. The Correll home was effective ly decorated with chrysanthemums and other fall flowers. Five tables were arranged for bridge and fol lowing a number of progressions, cards were laid aside and a tempt ing salad course was served. Mliss Correll presented Miss Jackson with a lovely souvenir of the afternoon and Miss Sybil Pringle was presentde with the top score prize. — Spartanburg Herald. Fish Fry at St. Lukels C. M.
