Landrum to Hold
Election on Tuesday
Municipal election lor mayor,
council and water commission for
the Town of Landrum will be held
on Tuesday. Four candidates are
on the ticket for mayor and in
clude J. E. Ballew, Frank Lam
bright, C. M. Steadman, S. C.
Yates. Nine candidates are run
ning for council. Four are to be
elected. On the ticket are Leon
ard Brodme, Oscar Brady, Lyles
Carpenter, S. A. Copeland, W. L.
Eaton, W. S. Heavner, W. P. Hill,
D. W. Lowe, C. J, Stover. For
water commission one is to be
elected out of the three candidates
Carl Barnett, Frank Carpenter. J.
I. Sanders.
