Funeral Services For Auto Wreck Victims Forest City, Nov. 25.—Funeral services foir Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Steadman, who were fatally injur ed in an automobile crash in Forest City Sunday night, will be held today (Tuesday) afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Green Creek Bap tist church in Polk county.—Ashe ville Citizen. THANKSGIVING SERVICE (Union Thanksgiving services will be held at the First Baptist church at 11 o’clock on Thursday morning with the Methodist minis ter, the Rev. L. R. Akers, Jr., preaching. The Baptist choir will sing the anthem, “Give Thanks Un to God.” Psychology Class Formed At Landrum Landrum, Nov. 24.—A class in phychology has been organized. It is to meet every Thursday eve ning and will be taught by Mr. James Brooks. The clalss held its first meeting recently at the home of the Rev. J. S. Lyons.—Spartan burg Herald. Tryon To Play At Newberry Newberry, Nov. 25.—Newberry Hi ends their season here Wednes day against the strong Tryon, N. C., team. The Tarheels aire coached by Marcus Caldwell, a Newberry boy who usually brings strong teams and this season is one of his best The Bulldogs have had an in and out season but each man is in shape with Baker, Ringer and Williams playing their last game for Newberry Hi, so fans are ex pecting a real hard-fought game. —Spartanburg Herald. On Radio Miss Martha Berry, founder and director of the Berry schools in the mountains of North Georgia, will be heard over WWNC tonight at 10:15 during a special dinner tendered her by Mrs. John Henry Hammond. Miss Berry has devot ed her life to the education of the mountain children in Georgia and ' from her schools have come many j students who have gone far in the field of medicine, religion and edu ^ cation.—Asheville Citizen. •
