Movement Organized To Help the Youths A meeting was held at the Par ish House Wednesday night to sponsor a movement to create enough public sentiment to per suade the prison officials of the state to segregate some of the prison camps already built and use them as first offender camps for boys under 21 years of ag2. Among the speakers in favor of the plan Wednesday night were Judge Will Pless, of Marion, W E. Kil pin, B. B. Bishop, president of the Tryon Rotary Club, C. J. Lynch, president of the Tryon Kiwanis club, J. E. Shipman* J. T. Fain, Jr. and O. Y. Brownlee of Henderson ville, Bishop F. H. Touret, F. P. Bacon, J. T. Arledge, Dr. George F. Taylor, J. Lee Lavendar, Rev. C. P. Burnett, Mrs. Burnett, Mrs. J. F. Black, John A. Arledge, Maj. Bernard Sharp. Snow and Rain Rain and probably snow or sleet is predicted for the Asheville area tonight. The lowest temperature predicted for Asheville tonight will be about 30 degrees. So it will not be so cold in Tryon. Lake Junaluska, Methodist As sembly property was sold this week at Waynesville to satisfy holders of a first mortgage amounting to $94,000. The County also has a claim against the prop erty for $18,000 in taxes. The property was bid in for $50,000 by a representative of the bondhold ers. National Boy Scout week will be observed Feb. 7-13.
