They will also list the Farm Census: For Tryon, Jim Fisher; Clreen Creek, C. W. Davis with Roy Wilkins as assistant; Saluda, Roy E. Ward; Columbus, F. M. Burgess; White Oak, Mrs. Celia Dalton; Cooper Gap, John Taylor. Tax listing will begin on April 1. Special attention is called to the importance of Farm. Census listing which is very necessary since the Government relies on these reports in making all kinds of allotments. Every farm left off cuts the county out of money. Republican Delegates Tryon Township Republicans met on Monday and elected the following delegates to the County Convention which will be held in .Columbus at the Courthouse at 2 'h. m., on Wednesday, March 11: It. L. McNeely, Fred E. Swann, H. H. Thompson, Fred Arledge, S. B. Edwards. The County Convention will be presided over by County Chairman, Ed Newman. State Income Tax Man Here Friday D. G. Fisher, Deputy Commis-t sioner of the State Revenue De partment, will be in Tryon on Fri day, March 13, at Hotel Tryon to assist the taxpayers in filing their State income tax returns. Mrs. J. E. Walker Mrs. J. E. Walker. 81, died early this morning at her home in Mill Spring. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday afternoon at 3 o’clock at the Mill Spring Baptist church, with the pastor, Rev. Chas. Trammel, officiating. Mrs. Walker was a native of Polk county. Be sides her husband she is survived by the following sons and daugh ters: John, Will, Crawford, Mrs. E. B. Mathis of Rutherfordton and Mrs. John Hutcherson of Colum bus. Concert Tonight The Spartanburg Male Chorus will render its second concert in Tryon tonight at 8:30 at the Try on school auditorium. The Tryon Boy Scouts will assist in parking automobiles so that no one need hesitate to attend the concert for that reason. The admission is $1. This will be the last Lanier club concert of the season. County Tournament The County High School Basket ball Tournament will begin in Trycn Wednesday night between Stearns and Tryon boys and Sunny View ?nd Tryon girls. The next meeting will 1 at Green Cresk on Thursday, Saluda, Friday and Co lumbus on Saturday. Results of these matches will be published daily in The Bulletin.
