The Glass Greens committee of
1 h 2 Try on Country club met on
Tuesday afternoon with Chairman
Nelson Jackson, Jr., and report's
that considerable progress has been
made toward raising money to
build the new grass greens on the
golf course, but more money is
needed to finish the job. * Donations
from all golf lovers and business
men will be appreciated.
Junius R. Judson of Rochester,
N. Y., has arrived in Tryon to
join Mrs. Judson at their home in
Giillette Woods. They have as their
guest, Mr. Judson’s sister, Mrs.
Harry P. Rushing, of Lawrence
ville, Pa.
Mrs. T. J. Kennedy is visiting
in Raleigh and Kinston, N. C.
