Arthur Lincoln reports that he had a long distance tele phone conversation at 1 p. m., to day with his daughter, Miss Bar bara, who is marooned in the flooded district of Pittsburgh where she is a post graduate stu dent of the University of Pitts burgh and doing case work for the Alleghenny Family society. Miss Lincoln stated that all the people Rn her apartment house are having k> ccok together over a gas stove. There are no electric lights. They have plenty of food but are short of water—drinking water. Tele phone service was restored at noon today and the electric light service was expected to be in operation by Saturday. Court of Honor Monday Night There will be a Boy Scout Court of Honor at the Parish House on Monday evening:, March 23, at 7:45. Scout Executive R. M. Schiele, will show pictures in beautiful colors of the Boy Scout work and activities. Most of kthese pictures are new and haven’t rbeen shown in Tryon before. The public is invited to attend.
