Hicks, 84, died at her home in Lynn on Monday night. Funeral services will be held at Lynn Baptist church on Wednesday at 12 o’clock noon. The Rev. L. J. Keels and Dr. E E. Bomar,a former pastor, will offi ciate. Burial at Columbus Baptist cemetery. The deceased was born in South Carolina, but had made her home for years with her sis ter, Mrs. Harrison G. Cannon, at Lynn. The BULLETIN—$1.50 A Year Steeple-Chase On Wednesday, April 1 A double-header entertainment for Tryon horse lovers is schedul ed for Wednesday afternoon at Harmon Field, beginning at 2 o’clock when the annual Steeple Chase and Gymkhana will be held. Three thrillin graces will be run off in the Steeple-Chase and the Gymkhana will call out the talent of riders to a large extent, as it will include some games and races on horseback, requiring a great deal of skill as well as dar ing. A special feature of the event is expected to be a game of mule nolo, in which two selected teams will struggle for fire place. Tro phies will be awarded. The committee is as follows: Judges—Col.
