MARCH 3. 187»* Mrs. Harkness Smith To Head Lanier Club Through an error in The Bulle tin yesterday several names were l left off the nominating committee’s ' report for the Lanier club. The corrected report is as follows: For president, Mrs. Harkness Smith; for vice-president. Mrs. Eric Lu beck;'secretary, Mrs. E. E. Missil dine; treasurer, Mrs. Bernard Sharp. The Board of Directors: Mrs. Carroll Rogers, Mrs. D. C. Brundage, Mrs. H. H. Parmeleee, Mrs. W. E. Lindsay. The officers will be voted on at the annual business meeting on April 16. Lanier Tea Today The Lanier club Tea and Style Show will be held this afternoon from 4 to 6 at the library. Jean West of Asheville will put on a style show of exclusive wearing apparel. Admission 50c. All pro ceeds for the benefit of the library upkeep. Models for the show will be Mrs. Fred S. Ford, Mrs. Walter Hill. Mrs. John Washburn, Mrs. Dudley Smith, Mrs. M. B. Flynn, Miss Ann Bingham and Miss Isa belle DuCharme. Noted Poet Here Dr. and Mrs. Percy MacKaye of New York, and daughter, Miss Christine, of Washington, D. C., are guests at Hotel Trvon.
