Arledge, farmer and pro ducedealer of Hendersonville, died at his home on Thursday evening at 6:30 o’clock. He had been ill a ;^gek and in poor health for some Ae -^vuneral arrangements were not complete Thursday night. Mr. Arledge was a native of Polk county where he engaged in farming before coming to Hender sonville in 1921. He was the son of the late J. P. Arledge, of Polk county, and of Mrs. Lizzie Rucker Arledge of Rutherford county. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Bessie Capps Arledge, formerly of Polk county; three children, Coy, Doris, and Betty, all of Hender sonville, and several brothers and sisters. J. D. Blackwell James D. Blackwell, 67, died Thursday, May 28 at 4 a. m. at his home in the Greens Creek com |-^anity after a short illness. ; funeral services to be held Fri cray at 3 p. m. at Greens Creek Baptist church conducted by the Rev. N. A. Melton, the Rev, R. D. Byrd and Dr. W. A. Ayers. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Sue Green Blackwell, and the following children: Barnett B.
