The young couple are making their home with Mr. !)«' nd Mrs. S. B. Edwards on Mark ’'ham road. Mr. Wrightson is con i' ected with the Automatic Heating Company. Hospitals For Children Now Open Saluda, June 10.—Dr. D. L. Smith’s Sanatorium for infants and children has been opened here for the summer months. Th eSpartanburg Free Baby hos pital also has opened here for the summer with Miss Irene Anderson in charge. The internes for these hospitals are Dr. Rufus Breton, at the Free Baby hospital, and Dr. George Durst and Dr. J. F. Robinson. Patients are now being cared for ^it both places. The Tryon Firemen were honor guests at a delicious steak supper at Harmon Field on Wednesday evening when the Tryon Riding & Hunt club entertained the Firemen as a mark of appreciation for their services rendered during the Horse Show. Vice-president C. J. Lynch was master of ceremonies. Town Manager C. H. Helms was the steak cooker, aided and abetted by chief cooker W. W. Creasman, J. P. Cole slaw, French fried potatoes, coffee and rolls and butter com pleted the meal. J. S. Arledge made a speech of thanks for the supper. TODAY’S CLOSING N.Y.
