This corporation be gan at Columbus in 1928 and has had a remarkable growth. C. P. Rogers of Tryon is chairman of the board of directors and F. P. B?ccn of Tryon is a member of the board. Meeting Miss Alice Martin on the street yesterday we learned that Miss Mary Drew reports hot weather in Canada where she went on a cruise for her vacation. Temperature there went over 100 degrees and there were no air conditioned trains. So she will go to Detroit to get an air-con ditioned train home. Another happy meeting was the greeting of Mr. John Orr on Trade |t, street Wednesday. Mr. Orr is \ running John D. Rockefeller a J p ose race for age and all indica tions point to his hundredth birth day celebration in Tryon. For the beat way to live these two men are good examples. Mr. Orr has lived a life of usefulness all hisl life and it is reflected in his face and in his spirit. Mr. Rockefeller, after living a cold-blooded business life earlier in his career, changed over to Mr. Orr’s way of living and is making his money serve humanity.
