TRYON, N. C., MONDAY, AUGUST 3, 1936 Our German Letter Tryon Daily Bulletin: You may /eel inclined to fire your European correspondent for not giving you the low down on European international relations. But please be lenient because in time he may be able to read the German newspapers. So far his mind has Avith some success been centered upon deciphering th? per plexities of German menus. He can now order baked fish and know for a certainity that a sad eyed boiled fish will not stare at him from its platter. At present Ger many is atmospherically very wet and cold. Whether or no its atmos pheric condition reflects its gov ernment’s attitude toward the downpour of words deluging the surrounding nations your corres pondent is not prepared to say un til his clothes are dry and he be comes warm beneath a German feather tick. Yours, W. B. Weigel. At Kiwanis Dr. B. B. Bishop will have the Tryon Kiwanis club program on Tuesday noon at 1 o’clock at the Hotel Tryon. B. C.
