Bootlegging Still
Thrives
During July, federal investiga
tors in South Carolina captured
forty-four stills, five hundred and
sixty-four gallons of liquor and
22.260 gallons of mash. This, of
•course, is only a small proportion
I of the bootlegging business,
k Most of the stills captured are
reported to have been found In
the “dark corner” section of
Greenville county. There are
“dark corners” in almost every
county, where bootlegging thrives.
And we’re afraid it will continue
