New Voters Register

New voters, those who have be
come 21 years of age since the
last election and new comers who
have made North Carolina their
home for at least 12 months may
register this week and vote in the
General Election on November 3.

SNOW IN NEW YORK
Albany, N. Y., Oct. 18.—A
northwest blizzard swept across the
Malone area today leaving three
to four inches of snow. Automo
biles of hunters were marooned in
the Adirondack woods. Snow
came after a 12-hour rain.
The touch of winter followed
below-freezing temperatures re
ported throughout the state early
in the week.
