Employers To Get
Security Blanks Today
Form SS4, the Employer’s ap
plication for identification number
under the social securities act, were
distributed today with the second
delivery of mail, Postmaster W. H.
Stearns has announced.
The postoffice department is co
operating with the social security
board in securing this information,
which is essential to the execution
of the old-age benefit statue.
The forms are to be delivered
to every individual, firm, trust or
estate, partnership, corporation,
association, joint stock company
and insurance company that has
one or more persons less than 65
years of age in its employ as of
November 16.
The forms must be returned to
the postoffice, either in person, or
by mail or by carrier before Nov.
21. If the employer does not re
ceive one of the forms, he should
apply at the postoffice for one.
