Woodruff Charles B. Woodruff, 86, died a suddenly about 6 o’clock this morn ing at his home on Lincourt drive following a few days illness. There will be no services inTryon. The body will be shipped to Detriot. Mr. Woodruff came to Tryon about nine years ago from Duluth, where he was in the lumber business. Rela tives will arrive in Tryon Tuesday. Hunt News The Tryon Hounds will meet reg ularly from Dec. 15 on until fur ther notice. Hounds will leave ken nels at 10 o’clock on Monday and Saturday mornings, and at 2:30 on Wednesday afternoons. Meeting ulaces will be announced in the Tryon Daily Bulletin each Saturday by the Secretary of the Hunt. Monday, Dec. 14: Leave kennels N lO a.m. Meeting place at Block ' J'fouse. Flynn, Secretar Sheriff Hines was down in the Hickory Grove section last week investigating the loss, of about 300 pounds of seed cotton from the field of Lynn Carson, colored. Ac cording to reports the cotton was carried from the field to highway, a short distance, and loaded on a car. The car was traced to the in tersection of the roads near Hick ory Grove church where the tracks were lost. No arrests have been made as yet.
