VMAS pHOTOS Plans Changed Mr. and Mrs. John Washburn and daughter, Mollie, were sche duled to leave today for Califor nia via JacksCnville, Fla., and the Panama Canal, but Mr. Washburn was called to Minneapolis by the sudden illness of his brother, A. M. Washburn. Miss Ruth Manville, who at tends Duke University will arrive home Saturday to spend the holi days with her parents. Mr. and Mrs. E. Perry Manville. In a re cent Field Day at Duke, Ruth secured the Reserve Championship in the Horsemanship class, and won first place in the jumping.
