Needs continue to grow. Red Cross now caring for nearly million flood refugees in Ohio and Mississippi valleys. Operating 113 field hos pitals and 317 concentration camps. Red Cross furnishing immediate emergency relief for refugees. This must continue for many weeks until water has receded. Possibility additional towns must be evacuated and number of ref ugees will grow. Pinckney gave an interesting talk today noon on the rise and fall of the moving pic ture industry in which he outlined the advantages and disadvantages of movies and their potenital value as an educational medium, the need for control to prohibit indecent films. Mr. Pinckney has studied the industry; he took part in the picture, “Circuit Rider”, and is ah operator of movie machines.
