Rogers, Vice-president K. A. Bowen, Treasurer B. L. Ballen ger, Secretary V. T. Barnette. Re tiring President Chas. G. Sewall, who has been elected a trustee of the Hospital, thanked the com mittee for its work during the year. Pirns were discussed for the annual campaign for funds to maintain St. Lukes hospital the coming year. The committee was elated over the announcement that a number of members of the As sociation had already sent in their annual donation. Letters have been received from time to time praising the splendid work done by the hospital and the association is going forward with the enthu siasm resulting from work being well done and appreciated for the community. Tea Thursday The Lanier club teas have been so well attended, this year that it is necessary to have as many res ervations aa possible in order to know how many plates to serve. The t:a this week will be held on Thursday at the Library. Please phone your reservation now to Mrs. E. Pue-Williams or to Mrs. Rebecc? Jervey. These teas give visitors a convenient and comfort able place in which to entertain friends. All proceeds for the bene fit of the libi'ary. Adv. TRYON, N. C. WEDNESDAY, FEB. 10, 1937 Kerhulas-Swann Wedding To Be Held Sunday The wedding of Miss Margaret Kefhuslas and Mr. William Fred Swann wil be held on Sunday at 1 o’clock at the Erskine Memorial Congregational church with tihe pastor, Dr. C. Arthur Lincoln offi ciating. Music for the occasion will be rendered by Mrs. E. E. Missil dine at the church organ. Many cut of town relatives and friends will attend, End following the cere mony a wedding luncheon will be held at Sunnydale Log Cabin. Mr. Swann is manager of the Farmers Federation office at Marion, N. C. and the young couple will make their home there following a short wedding trip. Masons Consolidate The Mill Spring Masonic Lodge No. 636 and the Skyuka Lodge No. 605 A. F. & A. M. were consoli dated on Monday night and the name o 4 ’ “Jeff L. Nelson Lodge No. 605 A.F.&A.M.” given the new Lodge in honor as the late Jeff L. Nelson, district lecturer. The offi cer of the Lodge are T. G. Miller, W.M., Fred Wofford. S.W, R. L.
