'Lincoln’s Birthday
Today, February 12, is the
birthday of Abraham Lincoln, the
great president. For that reason
there is no stock market report in
today’s paper. Northern visitors
in the Bulletin office sometimes ex
press their surprise at seeing
Lincoln’s picture hanging on the
wall over the editor’s desk. Roose
velt’s hanging up too. And it is
hoped some day to add Robert E.
Lee’s, Benj. Franklin’s, Henry W.
Gray’s and a few others.
That man is here again! In
spector John E. Floyd of th?
Sanitary Engineering Department
of the State Board of Health, is in
the county inspecting hotels, board
ing houses, cases, etc.
