YOUNG MEN’S CLUB NOTES It is quite a task to put a club room together with the help Os volenteers from a membership as diversified as ours. The boys who are skilled enough to do this work with a few executions, are employ ed and the hours they can give each week do not go far in ro big an undertaking. But all things working together -*o v good, we are to spv there’s a sunrise awaiting ?nrrnp of vou who take tViQ t.r» look in. We have nlumbed and built every bit of o”r new eauipment that we could. When we get our work shop "omnleted and nr- manual train ing rrc\Sr\<r. we will really have ac complished the thing we set out to do. Ar average of three men ahd bovs have worked every day so far this month, with groups of 5 or 6 f or two or three hours each evpnine toward this end. The prospects of our home work shop have attracted a number of voung men who were deprived of this in earlier training. They are interested in learning how to build and repair furniture for use in their own homes. The unselfish efforts of the faithful few who always attend such projects as this should be an inspiration and in a small measure some compensation to our freinds, who, thru their generosity have made the Club possible. As the years go by, we feel sure you will see a good return from your in vestment. You will find in our membership as fine potential Citi zens as there are in America. The Association will play a big part in the of these individuals We are teaching each other how to play and work and live our slo gan “All for One, One for All.” The Boxing Team will meet to night with Carl Fortner in charge. Everyone interested in entering the team should be there. Fred Davidson was elected man ager of the club room at Thurs day night meeting. Everyone is happy to see Fred standing by. There has been a great change in the appearance of the rooms since he took charge. If anyone has a guitar parked in the attic rwe would be very glad to uSe it; We have several players but no guitars.
