We have so far got a grand cast including Ronald Colman, Douglas Fairbanks, Jr.. Mary Astor, Basil Rathbone, C. Audrey-Smith, but no leading lady. I have been doing the tests, and in the last ten days I have played scenes with Madeleine Carroll, Anita Louise, Josephine Hutcheson Frances Drake and Fay Wray. C., MONDAY, MARCH, 8, 1937 Dog Show Results Tryon sixth annual dog show was held Saturday afternoon at Harmon field. The weather was perfect and many distinguished guests were included among the large number of spectators and participants in the show which was directed by K. A. Bowen with an able committee composed of Mrs. Walter C. Hill, Fred J. Mc- Donald, Mrs. Dudley C. Smith, R. C. Erskine, Mrs. Carter P. Brown, W. A. Schilletter, Jerry Drew. Mrs. John Z. Preston, Lincoln C. Brigham, and Roger A. Shaffer. M. B. Flynn served as the of ficial announcer in the ring, and Miss Barbara Hill, assisted by Miss Betty White of Clark Sum mit, Pa., presented ribbons and trophies to the winners. The distinguished judges includ ed Mrs. Margaret Culkin Banning, of Duluth and Tryon; Donald Cul ross Peattie of Glenview, 111. and Tx-yon; F. Scott Fitz-gerald, and Dr. C. Arthur Lincoln of Tryon. Following the grand parade, in which all dogs entered in the show participated with their owners, II classes were held, with winners as follows: Class 2, Dog with largest feet, first Dan, owned and exhibited by Miss Mary Palmer; seond, Fuzzy, owned by Mra. Anne Bosworth Greene, and exhibited by Miss Ol ive Godsill. Class 3, Cleverest dog, first, Boots, owned and exhibited by Lee Cowan, second, Dan, by Miss Mary Palmer.
