GIVES DELIGHTFUL TALK

tess to ladies of the Erskine Mem
orial Society (Congregational) at
her home on Markham road on
Tuesday afternoon. The speaker for
the afternoon, Mrs. Robert B. St.
John, of Walton, N. Y., gave a
most inspiring and unique talk
“Concerning Two Books”. During
the short business session, the pro
gram chairman, Miss Maty Drew,
announced the April meeting would
be at the home of Dr. and Mrs.
,C. Arthur Lincoln and would be
Jin the form of an evening social
when all the congregation of the
church would be invited.
Following the program the
guests were invited to the dining
room for tea with the hostess and
her daughter, Mrs. Bryant Donald
son. At the table pouring tea
were Mrs. G. K. Meneely and Mrs.
Nelson Jackson, Jr.
The annual Presbyterian church
supper will be this evening at 7
o’clock at the Presbyterian church
with the ladies in charge. Follow
ing the supper the annual business
meeting will be held.
