Kimberly to St. Luke’s hospital, is nearing completion. The Home, a substantial stone structure, stands on the high ground' just to the west of the hospital, near enough to be easily accessible. It is built in the Sbuthem Colonial style from plans drawn by John R. Ferguson, and contains’ an apartment for the superintendent, a living room for the nurses, sev en bed rooms and four baths, with a small kitchenette. M,r. Mont gomery Whaling donated his ser vices as builder, while Bishop Frank Hale Touret and Rey. Charles G. Sewall acted as a Building Committee for the trus. tees of the hospital. The final grading and planting of the grounds will be done under the supervision of Major Bernard Sharp. It is expected that within a week or two, the building will be occupied by the nurses, which will leave the rooms heretofore occupied by them on the ground floor of the hospital free for an out-patient department, a much needed addition to the hospital facilities. An endowment fund for the nurses’ home has been pro vided, so that its maintenance will add nothing to the current expens, es of the hospital. At some con venient time in the future, the Trustees will open the building for the inspection of friends of the hospital. Carrs Buy Here Dr. and Mrs. E. M.
