J. V. Hall Resigns J. Vernon Hall, for many years manager of the Ballenger Co., grocery department has resigned his position, effective July 3. Mr. Hall stated that he has several propositions under consideration but that he had not made any definite plans for the future. Mr. Hall was recently elected to the Tryon Board of Commissioners. Should he accept some of the out. of-town propositions it would affect the local political situation in that a new Town Commissioner would have to be elected.
