J. V. Hall Resigns
J. Vernon Hall, for many years
manager of the Ballenger Co.,
grocery department has resigned
his position, effective July 3. Mr.
Hall stated that he has several
propositions under consideration
but that he had not made any
definite plans for the future. Mr.
Hall was recently elected to the
Tryon Board of Commissioners.
Should he accept some of the out.
of-town propositions it would affect
the local political situation in that
a new Town Commissioner would
have to be elected. Many friends
hope that his plans will keep him
in Tryon.
