The Rev. Mr. Strick land will officiate, and interment will be in the church cemetery. Sain’s truck, according to infor mation reaching here, crashed when a cow which he was hauling jumped from the vehicle about five miles above Fletcher on the Hen, dersonville-Asheville highway. He was born and reared in Mc- Dowell county but had made his home in the Silver Creek church community for approximately 25 years. He was a deacon of that church. Surviving are his wife; four Jesse, Walter, Doyle and Jftoyd Sain; three daughters. Ger_ Trude, Dorothy and Viola Sain; and two brothers, J. A., and W. S. Sain.—Spartanburg Herald. An interesting pro gram has been planned. Rufus Page, assistant forest specialist, State College, Raleigh, will teach classes in forestry. Miss Anne Tucker, home demon, stration agent from McDowell county will give instruction to girls in making beaten silver brace lets and plaster of paris plaques. The boys also will have classes in handicraft. The afternoon programs will be devoted to tours to the experiment station, to Montreat, the Ashev'lle Recreation park Biltmore dairies, and to a number of hikes, An ex cellent swimming pool will be available to those who wish to swim. The evening program will consist of songs, stunts, team demonstra tions. various contests, and active and quiet games. The 4-H clubs of McDowell, Yan cey and Polk will attend camp together. LYNCH AT RIWANIS Chas. J. Lynch will have charge nf the Tryon Kiwanis program Tuesday at 1 p. m. at Hotel Tryon. SCOUT MEETING Trvon Boy Scout Troop Noi 1 will hold its regu’ar meeting Tues day night at 7:30 at the gym.
