The Tryon club which already has two wheel chairs constantly in use by invalids in the community and county voted to purchase another chair for the free use of invalid citizens not able to buy a chair. So I read it more carefully than most of the exchanges. The other day I noticed a poem in it by Dr. E. E. Bomar’s son-in-law, Dr. John W. Frazer, of Montgomery, Ala. It is as follows: FARING ON Death, a crossing With muffed oars, The river runs Between the shores. Death a passage Through tunnel’d night The tunnel ends But not the light. Death-faring on, The Cross is set ’Twixt Bethlehem And Olivet. . . Larry Gellert (Golay) is married, according to Bill Weigel Dr. J. I. Lea states that the Tau Rock Vireyards have a lot of ripe, sweet, clear grapes in spite of the weather Ann Clark celebrated heP birthday Sunday evening with a group of friends. And Dr. C. Arthur Lincoln was seen to put in his birthday collec tion at Sunday school last Sdnday.
