Funeral arrangements "have not been made. The de ceased is survived by his widow, formerly M;iss Pearl Hutchinson and 13 children. He has large family connections through this section and is a member of the well-known Williams family of the Skyuka community. “30” Kiwanis Wednesday The Tryon Kiwanis club will not meet Tuesday, but will join the Rotary club in welcoming the Travel Tour representatives at luncheon on Wednesday at Oak Hall. As many as possible of the club members and George A. Cathey of the Citizens committee will receive the visitors Wednes day morning about 10 o’clock at the Tryon Country club. Air Mail Tuesday Postmaster W. H. Stearns states that people wanting to send letters by the special airplane which will stop at the Hendersonville airport on Tuesday must get the letters in the Tryon post office by 9 o’clock Tuesday morning if they want their letters to travel on this special plane. World Series Broadcast at 1:15 this afternoon. If Yankees win today the series will be over. The last half of the Army-Columbia football game will be broadcast Asheville at 4 p. m., fol lowing the World Series.
