TUESDAY, OCT. 26, 1937 At Kiwanis Today C. M, Eargle gave an interesting account of his recent deer hunt near Brevard and Chas. E. Bing ham, brother-in-law of Dr. Lincoln, gave a short talk on the impor tance of imports which reminded the members of Phil Windsor, who preached that the only way to sell more goods satisfactorily to Europe is to buy more goods from them. Following the meeting the officers and directors elected Seth M. Vining secretary for 1938. The official board for next year will be as follows: President, R. H. Brady; Immediate Past President K. A. Bowen; Vice-President, Hoyt O. Prince; Treasurer. C. J. Lynch; Secretary Steth M. Vining; Direc tors: C. M‘. Eargle, J. N. Jackson, J. E. Brownlee, C. A. Lincoln. C. P. Rogers, J.‘ A. Wilson and Joe Troy. Brotherhood Thursday The Wesley Brotherhood will meet Thursday at 7 p. m. for a supper meeting in the dining room of the Methodist church. The new pastor, the Rev. M,. A. Lewis, is expected to be present and all members of the Brotherhood are urged to be present and meet him. Anyone bringing guests should notify Byron Rector. New Taxi Service Dick Burnette of the Supi-eme Service Station announces in to day’s Bulletin the beginning of the Supmeme Taxi Service which includes cars for hire by the day or week and a low minimum taxi fare within the town limits.
