■NTERED AS SECOND-CLASS MATTER AUGUST 20, 1026. AT TUB ruSi u*> a » AT TBYON, N. C., UNDER THB ACT OF CONGRESS, MARCH 3.1879 (Ergon (The Smallest Daily Newspaper In The World) Vol. 10. Est. 1-31-28 TRYON, N C„ THURSDAY, JAN. 13, 1938 LETTERS A number of interesting letters have been received at the Bulletin office presenting the views of the in regard to the mill situa tion. May I say that in the first place, I believe that if more people had talked, as I have, with the man who initiated the movement to bring a new industry to Tryon, there would be more understanding and less apprehension. I am quite certain that this man has only the best in terests of Tryon as a whole in mind, and that it is far from his idea to invite, or encourage any indus try to locate here if it is deemed harmful or undesirable by the resi dents or tradespeople. He is a man who truly appreciates Tryon as Continued on Page Two Teachers Meeting There will be a meeting of the Polk County School Teachers at Mill Springs school house at 10 o'clock Saturday morning.
