school boys and girls will meet
Saluda’s teams. The locals have
been steadily improving with each
game and promise to make things
interesting for the visitor?.. Saluda
brings a team of boys with a good
offense built around Staton, all
conference center, Lawter and Hol
bert are also main cogs in Coach
Wnget's team.
The Tryon boys will start Jones
and D. Beatson at forward, A.
Beatson at center, Francis Chap
man and Parker ,at guards. The
following boys will also see service,
Frank McFarland, Harold Taylor,
Seth Vining, Jimmie Jackson,
Charles Ford and Marion Green.
Pat Garnett, former Tryon band
master, will bring a group of
musicians here to aid the local
band which will furnish music for
the occasion.
